Position on the European Single Access Point

CMU | 9 Mar 22

For institutional investors familiar with the local ecosystem, company information is, in general, readily discoverable. For cross-border retail investors less familiar with where to look, however, it can be harder to find information.

FESE shares the Commission’s objective to provide access to company information at EU level and supports measures that give companies visibility on a European basis. By facilitating access to information about companies in other Member States or regions, more cross-border investments could potentially be encouraged. In this way, the European Single Access Point (ESAP) can be a helpful contribution to reaching this policy objective.
